KUM® uses only high quality materials for its brushes (handles, ferrules, hair/fibers) to ensure that: our brushes don ́t lose hair, the brush heads maintain their form for a long time and that the absorption and pay-off characteristics are perfectly adapted to the individual use.

To become a Brush Maker in Germany, one must go through a practical (on the job) and theoretical (at a brush maker’s school) apprenticeship for 3 years and then take a test in front of the Chamber of Commerce.

After additional 5 years of practical work and school, one can take his test to become a Master Brush Maker. We have 3 such Master Brush Makers working in our factory, to ensure the highest quality level possible and to make sure that we can offer a constant stream of innovations to our customers, like for example Memory Point Brushes that surpass in characteristics any other brush that can be found on the market today.
